Just got these stencils today after remembering about using text within image. Using text with image is a a bit yummy and a great way of controlling entropy of the abstract mark, order from the chaos. Want to see how far this will be integrated into painting or will it be a little fad which would be cool. Got a few ideas to bring narrative into work with the standard surreal prose often thrown into my works. All this is really an attempt at the Jungian idea of creating your own 'Red Book' a kind of inner searching to find expression of the outer.
