NYE @ Studio 18

Well 2023 threw up some doozies for the folks here at Studio 18, it felt as if two years were squeezed into one, what with all those raves, exhibitions and oh yeah a festival. One thing was clear though: Studios have a lot of love. So it's only right that we see this one out together in style and open up a new year with those positive Stroudy vibes and dance our way to 2024.

El Huevo started life playing strictly Jump up only, in the likes of Timbuktu and Arc Bar in early 2000s Bristol. Thankfully, his musical horizons have expanded, although amen breaks still heavily permeate his sets.

In recent years El Huevo has been an illusive figure, emarging to play a regular slot at Deevstock festival and the odd party. Expect plenty of ravey breaks and with a festive dusting of squiggly acid techno.

Darius aka Crooked Stylus has been DJing since 1988 and putting on parties in Stroud since 2012. Self-confessed vinyl addict and purveyor of deep, acidic house, techno and disco, he loves taking the dancefloor on a journey of the mind, body and soul.

WizardTree brings you a  journey through uptempo psychedelic bass-driven trance-inducing breaks and groovy atmospheric half-time beats.

Disco D’Oli brings you a selection of deep, groove-led vinyl that distils the collectivist, loving spirit of house as it emerges from disco. Midwife DJ Oli holds the space for peace, liberation and healing - feel reborn on the dancefloor!
