Lensmen

Lensmen quintet are dark and atmospheric. Formed in Stroud Gloucestershire in 2016 their explorations of the passions draw influences from post punk, new wave and psychedelia.

They have been likened to Magazine, Bauhaus, Joy Division, The Sisters of Mercy and Nick Cave with momentary lapses into Richard Hawley, Tindersticks and Radio/Motor/Portis-head.

Drawing on themes of death, dying and property speculationthey provide a soundtrack to our lives and its passing.

Alternating between hard and soft, quiet and loud, Lensmen tell the stories that bind us all together.
